The Asian Business and Management Program (ABMP) is one of the first institutions in Canada to provide professional development and management training to senior executives in Education, Government, and Corporate public and private sectors from Asian countries. Since 2000, we have successfully delivered 200+ short-term and long-term training programs to over 5,000 officials from central and provincial levels in addition to educators and executives in the private sectors.
ABMP’s customized training itineraries are designed and offered in close collaboration with and for our participants. The academic curriculum is supplemented with visits to public and private-sector organizations intended to give trainees first-hand experiences with practitioners and allow for the transference of learning from classroom to real-world situations.
Each year, hundreds of individuals from across Asia receive the latest in government expertise, valuable insights and increased capacity to bring their organizations to renewed levels of efficiency and effectiveness. As a leader among global education programs and societal trends, ABMP provides the most authentic, cross-cultural experiences for our participants rooted in proven research-based theories, techniques, strategies, and outcomes with an emphasis on 21st-century competency and soft skill development. Study abroad experiences can positively contribute to language and interpersonal skills, global competence and competitiveness as well as self-confidence. In addition to providing training to visiting delegations, ABMP also caters to the specific needs of local groups to equip participants with new and innovative techniques, strategies, and skills to be successful in 21st-century society.
